The courthouse is closed on the following holidays:* Ordinary ceremonies are not performed Each ceremony is completely private and lasts only a few minutes. If you would like to know if a same-day appointment is available, please call the district court administration on the ground floor of the courthouse or come in person to make an appointment. The cost of the wedding ceremony is $100.00, payable in cash only. These fees are due at the time of the ceremony. Appointments are required, at least one day in advance and you must have a valid marriage certificate. Ceremonial dates are only scheduled during the valid date range of your marriage certificate. Due to occupancy restrictions, no more than 10 guests are allowed for a ceremony. The ceremonies take place every day of the week, from Monday to Friday, except holidays (see list below), at 4:30 pm. All parties must arrive a few minutes before 4:30 p.m. The judge will proceed until all marriages scheduled for that day have been celebrated. The District Court does not currently schedule any ceremonies outside the court. * The District Court does not hold marriage ceremonies with persons currently detained.
